.t3d files export/import in Blender to UE1

Post by luke11685 »

So in that older forum interface somebody told me .t3d cannot be imported. In Blender it looks like it can't be even exported.

In case of Unreal 1 Gold Edition I guess some fanmade unofficial patch supported is supporting .obj files as brushes import to UE1,but what in case of unfinished, never released tech demo of Jazz Jackrabbit 3(dimensional alpha)I don't think it supports .obj files import speaking of JJ3D level editor. I know some other multiple several versions were leaked online, but it looks like user Jazz"Clover"Gruff never changed anything about interface.
That one forum is offline being closed and archived.

Question was and my answer is how can I import .obj level map to Jazz Jackrabbit 3 Tech Demo Level Editor. I need some unofficial open source fanmade patch for version 400. I know Unreal Gold editor had such thing in 227i patch am I right? Redesigned level editor interface(article documentation would be adequate guys).

Though how do you expect such a fan patch to be made when the legal agreement with Epic isn't there for JJ3D? If I understood correctly.

I guess it's gonna be problematic.

It would be illegal without an agreement from Epic.

Could it be possible? Could it be complicated?

I mean i don't want to shoot anybody down from trying, but I don't think that's OldUnreal's place as it's outside the criteria of the site. More importantly, JJ3d was never finished, so I think it's profoundly unlikely it will ever happen like people have said countless times.

In that case it looks like I have to game mod Unreal Gold/Tournament(not including Unreal Championship series) or Nerf Arena Blast(I guess I will have to choose because lots of mutliple several methods options that I'll have to choose). I heard Unreal was originally intended to have online multiplayer campaign like 2 games in 1,but idea was rejected. Because these PC games were finished(including Jazz Jackrabbit 2,but in 2D-like Rayman 2,but only speaking of prototype final version was made in 3D,but it was character without any weapons arsenal).
