This is a "remake" of DM-relic6. As I had mentioned to Pitbull - "WE DO NOT REDO REVIEWS 'just because some one changed the music'...". This is an Upgrade better - yes but I believe the original REVIEW offers an adequate overview. There are additions and for those who enjoyed DM-relic6 you will "enjoy" the new offerings - so I see little reason to go into detail. My advise, however - to all mappers, is that you refrain from improving a "submitted" design. Use what you have learned about your "last" map and move on to another NEW design better informed. If you have fantasies about improving your map -WAIT- on submitting it. Best advise ... finish it and forget it for a month or SIX. Then when you go back to it you will "know" what to change and what to keep. I realize that sounds unrealistic but as a reviewer I can play the "idealistic card". I like the map ... but unless you loved DM-relic6 ... save the download time. d:-) PREVIOUS DM-relic6 COMMENTS

Anyone who thinks they cannot make an Unreal map (LOL or thinks they can) MUST look at this one. For it is BOTH "simple in design" and "outstanding in conception". This is the kind of map every mapper should strive for –why?- because it has incorporated within it; A: randomness (other than structural components – needed for environmental cohesion), B: diversity (in room characteristics and area atmospheric segways), C: top marks in GamePlay (THIS – is it’s resounding applause worthy feature). There are weapons enough to trip over and health & shields where you wish you had one. If you’re a Stargate fan (and what serious person isn’t) you can love this map for that aspect alone. However, as an Unreal map I (personally) find it extraordinary in layout, concept and functionality. There is primarily a maze like structure (fabulously done) with a (YES) Stargate to an outside enclosure that can take you back to the "maze" using a Goa'uld ring device, awesome in their execution. The subtle touches, sound effects and atmospheric additions make this one of the very best GamePlay maps I've had the pleasure to experience. I recommend you do the same.
