It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Im old UT/TO player, and just want inform about amasing piece of work, which can add many new effects in UE1 games.
One russian programmer bring this, and more to life!

Just look at screenshots.
His utilite uses dx9 render for work.
Guys from BeyondUnreal Forums remade this work for UT99, but its really buggy: http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=181821

This is russian forum, but just look at screenshots.

Im also managed get it to work with Unreal 1, with same UT99 dx9 render and patch 277! With hi-resolution textures its looks amazing!

But here is big bug with masked textures - they are just black.

So here is question: may someone cooperate with this russian programmer? Or made his own renderer with these effects for UT, Unreal and other UE1 games?

just wondering- I downloaded this alpha now and the docs and the included zip files show that the renderers by Chris are used- which is 227 using as well. So if unmodified these effects should work with 227's d3d9 renderer out of the box. Didn't do any tests yet myself, but in any case its of lil use without the sources if the programmer itself stopped his work....
