PLZ FIX BEFORE RELEASING 227G

3 problems concearning 3dfx glide:
problem 1:
when going to botmach when i try to select coop my game crashes and gives me a critical error
even tough when i restart it coop is selected and all runs fine
but when switching from coop back to another mode i get the same crash and error
(the error whas sumthing about not being able to find sumthing in the core.dll)
problem 2:
random speeding up and slowing down when playing
however turning on my frame limiter function in the glide wrapper seems to fix this
(this whas in botmatch and multiplayer)
problem 3:
max brightness with glide is to low
its so bad it feels like im playing a darkmatch
(i had to boost up the gamma in my glide wrapper and also lock it to fix it)
plz try to fix these problems cuz i really dont whant to go back to opengl or d3d cuz they are just damn ugly compared to glide and im sure allot of other ppl agree on that

to make it short:
Sorry, but Glide is deprecated, there is no way, no sources and no real chances to update.
OpenGL and D3D9 are much more functional nowadays and supported in any needed way.

maybe so but be honnest and compare opengl or d3d9 to glide
you know it turns unreal into a piece of eyecandy...
also im not asking for a major update but just a bug fix of at least the first problem i mentioned because i can fix the rest with my glidewrapper tool

first error is about an invalid entry and the second is that it cant find an entrypoint in a procedure

Should be just as good as glide. Glide is obsolete in every way unless you're using an old system with a voodoo card.

tryed ur settings and they made unreal uber ugly also got big black borders around my screen
default d3d9 settings where better

Try opengl. There are known issues between vendors {ati/nvidia} and even more issues between driver versions, particularly nvidias. some bugs were fixed with newer drivers.. others were created.

smirf got my opengl to look pretty nice still not as good as glide eye candy tough but very good
i would gues the second screenshot is glide cuz of the brightness problem
btw even on opengl the error still keeps comming up

yup
That's your problem right there. Those errors come from UPak. (Re)move the UPak.* files from your system folder and the UDSDemo.* and you will no longer get that message. I also think there's a Wiki entry about it somewhere?..
