[227g36] Failed to spawn player actor

I updated my servers to 227G36. When I try to login to my server with level ISVKRAN4 I get gibbed at the entry level with a failed login.

The server gives the following log:

definitely a side effect of the new hashing system. *sigh*
Well, we will find out. This new system is worth it, the better performance and getting finally rid of all hash crashes are good reasons to bear this kickback I hope.

You know, I've noticed something very weird with the latest testrelease, too. I get this error on some maps, but, I also notice that the behavior of one of my mods has changed...

I have this mod on my server that lets me teleport around... The way it works, is that it traces forward from the playerpawn's eye location, and then makes the player setlocation to the new location (plus some offset*hitnormal of course). Before the collision update, I could look forward and down (at an angle), and teleport a short distance in front of me. Now, the setlocation just fails, and I don't move at all... Maybe this same SetLocation failure is related to failing to spawn player actors? There could be something up with the zero extent trace or SetLocation itself...

It also happens at my custom map server now. Not all levels are affected but I can assume there are more custom maps affected by this.

Once again, what is "soon" in your definition? (With all the respect to your work, but I have some difficulties with the vagueness of the term.) I interpreted it as "in a few hours to two days" but that seems to be a misjudgment from my side.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not really in a hurry. I'm back to 227g34 for now and everything runs fine for the moment, but just want to know what I can expect. I now ended up checking for the expected release daily without finding it.

I beg for pardon. Soon is usually:
- List of Bugs
- Bugs on list fixed.
- need to do all Builds yet including Linux

but as usual, once almost done it happens:
on ICQ/IRC/MSN
I found a bug that...

So the list with bugs is open again and it makes no sense to make a new version when still some bugs are existing.
I honestly wish I knew myself how "soon" soon really is.
Again for the moment the list is now empty again, but I don't know yet if I can make it today, probably tomorrow then, if list stays empty...
