Vertex errors/any way to improve them
I don't know if you've targeted this, but it's most prominent in Tess Cube terrain editing, and I'm wondering if you would be able to fix this or change it around so that it's more convenient. Using the vertex edit, you can take brushes made from Tess cubes that have been deintersected and they can be shaped into a cave or terrain brush, but sometimes, when you place a vertex in a position that the editor doesn't like that might conflict with other parts of the brush, the editor crashes and any work that you didn't save is lost, plus you have to reload the editor and open your map back up, then get yourself back to about where you were, and this happens several times if you aren't really careful, so if there was a way where you could make the editor place the vertex that causes a problem back to where it was before you moved it, than a message comes up so that the mapper knows what happened, you wouldn't have to go and do all of the other stuff and you can continue mapping without huge interruptions. Dunno how of if this could be done, but it sure would help people who are trying to meet a deadline without any hitches.

Although I'm aware it's partially fixed already in 227g, it's not completely fixed. The red brush won't crash the editor, but you can still crash it with similar methods. Though I don't know why would anyone do that lol.
In short: fixed, as Shiv said.
