It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

the settings look fine so far, but i really suggest, if not done already, to download the s3tc textures, which improve the quality of the grafix ingame more than the renderer alone ever could provide.

He will have to download them from this site, because all downloads except the patches are down on the Celtic Warriors site till January 1th (We reached our bandwidth limit for December already at December 19th) This is mainly due to the hugh success of the S3TC textures. In general the packages are downloaded some 350 - 500 times.


Because of that i had to sent people to this site and and found an error.

I redid that page a while back myself and added the correct links. I asume you overwrote  that page with an older backup, because the old wrong page is there again. The links now point to 2 outdated non existing files............

Thankx for answer. S3TC - really great, but I against modified textures because i suppose that with them it's will be another game. Only engine improvings. Unreal Anthology DVD contain S3TC tex.?

No the Anthology Boxset came without the S3TC textures, which is a big disapointment for UT really.........

I do wonder, do you user the UnrealGold from Anthology ?

Than you still should try them, the project has as goal to make them in High Resolution, just that and nothing more. The textures where possible are exactly the same as far as coloration and atmosphere (mood), darkness, brightness. They only show alot more tiny detail, but were never ment to change anything.


You at least should try them, after all, you can always go back if needed.

No, I am owner of plain Unreal Gold v.226.

May be after i will try this packs, but only when final version will released, not earlier.
