All Unreal 1 vehicle bases

I would like to collect all U1 engine custom made vehicle mods. I need to look deeper into some of them. But except U_vehicles and U2_Vehicles created by .:.: , I haven't found anything. Maybe someone could help with better knowledge in this case?

Well, there are some vehicle mods around besides those:

- SLV (StrangeLove): a warhead that you ride around (just like in the movie), not sure if you would consider it a vehicle, but you can effectively use it as one: http://www.moddb.com/mods/strangelove-2

- RX (Rocket-X): it's a full on jet, based on the SLV code so the guiding is pretty much the same. There are tons of versions around, some of them being "private", meaning that the owners only host it on online servers without a offline version released to public.

The downloads are mostly in gamefront though, so in case you're in one of the excluded countries for them let me know (I will change all links anyway soon to some other hosting that doesn't back stab users and modders).

- BlackCheetah's Onslaught UT: this guy made a few (poor) attempts to port vehicles from UT2k4 to UT. However, let me tell you that in case you download those, you will be downloading the worse modding work I have seen in my life, the vehicles physics are bad, as their visuals and there's lag all over them, to not mention tons of bugs you will notice even before you enter a vehicle.

- There are also other small mods like Ghandi Jet and also flying cars, etc, but I don't have links (just mentioning their existence so you can look for them if you want).

However, I am not going to finish them, but I will release what's done already together with the final version of NW3 (still this year I hope). But they're 3 years old work and lack online support, besides having some physics bugs and limitations.
They are based in .:..:'s code for U_Vehicles, however in its current state so much has been fixed, improved and changed for much better physics and new features that I would say that about 80% of the core code there is mine alone, but the basic controls and structure are still from .:..: (the remaining 20%).

I think that's all there is, I don't know any other vehicle mods for UT or Unreal.

Problem is U1 wasn't made to be compatible with Vehicles. of course people added vehicles but they don't look right or run correctly lots of Bugs. Tires that don't actually Rotate.

The most big problem is physics of it. You're right. The good phys for vehicles must be written in C++, not only in Uscript.

Also thanks guys for mods which I haven't knew since present day ;)

I don't know the reason, but VenomX don't want to download...

Tires that don't actually Rotate.
I don't know anything about... Well, anything, but couldn't that be circumvented by switching the tire's still texture by a panning texture whenever the vehicle moves ?

Maybe he meaned about U_vehicles mod. Then he's right.
