I cant seem to get into hyper coop anymore

the problem: it downloads fine but when it hits 0 packages it starts downloading insanely slow making it impossible to get in. this happens in hypercoop and hypercoop custom maps. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH ANY OTHER SERVERS.

Ive tried: deleted my cache for the heck of it.. didnt help, reinstalled unreal didnt help.. tried a different computer at a different location, same problem.

I dont know what else to try, (btw im running unreal 227h , on windows 7 - 64 bit)

Please halps me! i wanna play hyper custom.. or please if anyone has 100% of the cache that would work as well.

Maybe the Servers are down.

the servers are up, but it seems they are just set to very slow download speed.
Hyper is testing 227i for me & Oldunreal, I guess some ini entry got lost during the last update.
Hyper, did DownloadSpeedLimit get lost by any chance?
should be something like:
DownloadSpeedLimit=524288
for max speed.

That's probably why he can't join is because Hyper is testing 227I.

nono, 227h can join the server without problems, but 227i is having a new download throttle, which falls back to a very low default value if this setting is missing in the ini

just throwing this out there,
if anybody ever sets there download rate that slow ,and has custom files with no redirects,
Then they can go play by themselves,
becuase im not waiting 2 hours to download files at sub dialup speeds.

so its not me? because i have been very frustrated thinking something was wrong with my settings..

and if you didnt notice i said it downloads fast all the packages until it reaches 0 remaining packages then it starts downloading the final one very slow, like 1K/s or something impossible to join(map changes causing download to restart making it impossible to join)

if the last package is not in the redirects , that could be the cause , Kknowing the package name could help hyper check to see if he is missing a file in his redirect.

No, not your fault

Hyper is maintaining his servers very well, I really think its more an accident than by purpose. But indeed this explains that behavior.

I tested the downloading and it indeed is very slow. I did not notice this before because I have a big cache which already has everything in it.

I changed the setting to this value. It was set to 128.
Are there any other new defaults which I should give some extra attention to? (Because I have many existing settings I always use my existing .ini files when updating my servers)

ps. I do have download redirection enabled, for fast downloads from my webserver, only not for .u files in my system directories, because these tend to be updated a lot.

Download speed issue should be fixed now. Please try it and let me know if the issue is also fixed for you.

there are a few new ini settings, but nothing which should cause any trouble in your config. You can check for the RPC settings if you want, but those are only needed in case of any attacks.

The reason why I set such a low default for DownloadSpeedLimit is that any low bandwidth server could be used to capacity if set to max. BetterSafeThanSorry policy if you wish.

yes, indeed. No problems are known with current testversion. Some things could have been still added though, but I'm tired and release is more important.

I hope I'm Not over-stepping my bounds, but will Duel Wielding on Map Switch be added?

In Singleplayer, when ever you Switch/Finish a map on Singleplayer your duel weapons revert back to 1 weapon instead of 2 and if you have 2 Dispersion Pistols with all power ups you lose those power ups.

There are no dual weapons in Unreal. You're speaking about some kind of a mod, and it looks like a problem with the mod itself.
