Blender animated meshes to U227h

Post by Dozey »

Yeap. We've got animated models created in Blender. We would like to export them and import then to Unreal WITH ANIMATIONS. The only format which we know (we - I mean about team of RTN2NW) is .*ase that is importable to Ued 3.0 aka ut2k4 or unreal 2. But I think it's a "dead model" it means that it haven't got animations, but no matter with this there is next problem - when it's importing as brush to Ued 3.0 editor fails and it's closing every time. Any suggestions?? :-?

If you want something with animations, a quick google for actorx for blender showed up nothing, so you're out of luck with skeletal animations.

however you can always try to see if blender supports exporting as .3ds, then export each frame from your project into a .3ds file and use 3ds2unr to convert it to unreal vertex mesh.

There is a PSK/PSA exporter for Blender. It's just not called ActorX.
