It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.

Hi,
I downloaded the new OpenGL Patch for Unreal yesterday. It's superb and makes that 'ol game look really nice
I have a Geforce 2 MX and the FPS have improved noticeable compared to D3D Rendering.
Unreal Tournament runs smooth with the latest OpenGLDrv.dll from http://unreal.epicgames.com/.
It would be great to have a similar patch for Rune (tho based on the UT Engine). Would that be hard to make?
Thanks for your quick reply.
I don't know what you mean by public headers.
I own a copy of Rune (+newest patch). Does that help? Do you need any files?
The OpenGL Renderer that came with the game works, but (as so often) it's too dark and you can't change the brightness.
public headers= parts of the source code which i can use to recompile the necessary files, for unreal -engine in c++, not included in the game, i have the game myself, not availible for download from the manufacturer sof rune as far as i know.So the short answer is no, without these files i can't help....

Sometimes you have to lose a fight to win the war.
Yes there certainly is an interest. Rune is still a great game and i would like to play in opengl where I can choose the brightness. Opengl is faster than D3D. I have a Pent4 with a Geforce 6800 and D3D is noticeably slow in comparison to opengl. Hope something can be done about it .
Now, i'm trying my best to be interested, only problem is, the only rune i ever played was a dire excuse for a game on PS2!
As much as i try, i cannot seem to think of an interesting and amusing signature...I blame the stupid fools who stole all my ideas for decent signatures...
