It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Re: unrealed
hmmm Unreal Ed comes with the game, so get the game plus the patches and you're way to go.
Don't know of any source to get the editor alone without the game. Also, I doubt you COULD because the editor usually loads a number of files upon startup which belong to the game. So chances are even IF you could get the editor without the game, it possibly wouldn't run...

There is a patch Unreal Ed Fix 4 that you may need to install before you start editing. It is best to edit and create maps using Unreal versions 224 or 225f. If you are using Unreal Gold (226b) or Unreal final (226f) then you will make maps that half the world cannot join.
Hope this helps!!

Re: unrealed
I presume Pikemania installed Unreal from PC Powerplay's coverdisc... it was given away free with the magazine some months ago... without the editor. But, as Bozo said, the editor comes with the UnrealEdFix4 patch.
Good luck with your editing, and please, if you have any questions or need some advice, just hurl an email my way to xaphan@zworg.com ... I'm always willing to help a fellow Aussie
