How do i get into a multiplayer game typing in the IP address?

open the browser and type it in up top in the address bar.

the browser? You mean the console? I've tried it many times in the console and it still doesn't work. help :-/

no no no, the browser is the internat games browset.. the thing that lets u see all the games in cyberspace. at the top is this line that say 'open' then a long space. thats where u enter the addy. i only do it for entering pw's, so im gonna use that as my example... 255.255.255.255?password=. to do it from the console/hitting tab, just add open to what i said at the begging of it

press Tab and type without the < >

Sounds like maybe you are using ver 226 .. rams is right .. just hit tab no matter where you are .. in a game, flyby, whatever .. type open ... this is important to know if you are entering a game with a pass on it and you are using version 226, as far as Iknow it is the only method that works.... if the game has a pass, then you hit tab and type: open ?password= without the brackets of course ....thats it ... another option is from within your internet explorer ... in the url type: unreal://:7777 ... assuming they are listening on port 7777, which they most likely are. .. this is nice because you can create a favorite place with this url ...
