I was approached by a friend of mine to make some music for one of his games. Im not a professional composer or anything but am a singer-songwriter and have a deep love for music so I guess he just thought hed see what I could come up with. I didnt even have any of the equipment but I found a good website with bargain audio gear - http://www.used.forsale/ - got myself a halfway decent weighted MIDI keyboard and a copy of Ivory 2 grand piano synth.

I actually normally play guitar but the brief was to write some melancholic music for a dark adventure game about a boy who gets lost in a woods that turns out to be a portal to another world/dimension and has to find his find his way back to his parents. I figured that piano can be a lot more melancholic than the guitar so I decided to write it on that.
Im not a particularly accomplished piano player but I think it was the right choice for the track:

Let me know what you guys think. Any feedback greatly received.
