OpenGL for 226patch...

Post by Raiden »

In the readme it came with, it says delete Unreal.ini. I have Unreal.int in the system folder. There is no ini file. just mostly int and u. Did you misspell cuz the patch isn't working. I didnt delete the int file or the "ini".
And another question... How do I get into a multiplayer game typing in the IP???

I'm having problems with the new opengl fix too, but I can answer your question.
unreal.ini IS in unreal/system folder assuming you have patched to version 226. might be elsewhere in lower versions, not sure.
to join a passworded game, open console by pressing '~' tilde, then type
open 123.45.67.89?password=pickle
where 'pickle' is hte password. might need to add port number like this
open 123.45.67.89:8101?password=pickle
where '8101' is the non-standard port number of hte server.

IP connection answered by previous post.

Unreal.ini is made as soon as you ran the game at least once. If you didn't start it at all after the installation no such file will exist. However just act as if you deleted it and continue installing as instructed by the manual.

You said it is not working - if so what do you see when it crashes or what does it do wrong?
