It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Problem with the list of mutators

UT now belongs to the "old" Unreal as well. Supporting it for OpenGL and Sound its time to put up a board now.

After installation of additions I have noticed that the list of mutators does not show more than 200 mutators. It is possible to solve this problem?

Why the hell would you need more than 200 mutators...

Anyways you can use open mapname.unr?game=package.class?mutator=package.class to start a map.

Thanks for alternative. But where I can find additional parametres for the OPEN command, such as ?game, ?mutator and etc (Google don't give any result)?
Why the hell would you need more than 200 mutators...
It is example of use all possibilities UT99 in crazy style with modern PC. ;D

P.S. It's more crazy :) , but how I can disable 3D decals limit (empty clips, corpses, etc not disappear)? I have powerful PC and I want to use all resources of this PC.

About the options, I don't think there are any other than these:
  • ?game=package.class -> Game type
  • ?mutator=package.class -> Mutator
  • ?class=package.class -> Player class
  • ?skin=package.class -> Player skin
  • ?password=password -> Game or admin password (some mods use custom login commands)
  • ?face=package.class -> Not implemented
  • ?peer -> Nobody knows what the hell is this lol

?peer has something to do with map switching and is useless

?lan forces the server to use lan clientrate with you

?difficulty=0 1 2 3 or 4 is difficulty, can be raised if you're nuts.. not sure if it does anything on UT

you can also use multiple mutators

?mutator=botpack.somemutator,botpack.anothermutator,botpack.thirdmutator

Face is used in UT, but not in Unreal 1.

Oops I didn't see that this is in the UT section... But yeah I know it's used in UT, sorry for misunderstanding.

holy shit! 200 mutators? my pc gets slow as soon as i installed more then20 mods for ut. (well not slow but loading time's increase drasticaly)

Server or client? It shouldn't be bad if you play on a strong remote server with 200 mods, but it can get laggy if you play offline, and if your computer is not l33t.
