It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

UT now belongs to the "old" Unreal as well. Supporting it for OpenGL and Sound its time to put up a board now.

hey, I've been searching for a long time, for any mods or mutators that enable RTNP weapons in UT99, especially the CAR. For example a mod/mutator to start the match already equipped with it or for it to be enabled as a pick-up, its my fave weapon and it would be good to use it in Tournament/Coop Mission matches with friends. I read that some modders/players use Stuff Swapper to switch meshes and textures around, but I don't want to replace anything, and due to various errors I can't use UnrealEd even after installing the fixes. but it would be cool to have the CAR appear in UT99. If anyone knows anything about any RTNP weapons mod/mutator for UT99 that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

The levels don't seem to work properly for me, from RTNP2UT, but the weapons are great thanks!, is there anyway to get rid of the transparency from some of the weapons?

In the end because RTNP2UT's UPak didn't work with my UT 451b even after hours of editing the config file, following the readme instructions carefully, reverting back to v436 to check compatibility, patching Unreal Gold to latest drivers, changing destinations and checking the UPak, I had to copy the necessary files from RTNP2UT and Unreal Gold and then use Stuff Swapper to put them in. I gather the transparency on the weapons is to do with the graphics drivers? if so im already using the latest OpenGL 3.4 dll so im out of ideas, im a persistant bastard so I will find a way to get RTNP working, trial and error I guess lol

yeah its kind of a confusing problem, I installed it as I read in the readme and all the various help topics on forums. As far as all the websites say v451b is perfect with RTNP and I am using Vista 32 which is also supposed to be good with UT99. I have Old Skool Amp'd 2.39 and its fine with Unreal 1 and the other mission packs but for some reason it doesn't like RTNP, it comes up on the single player UT menu fine, but when I click on it, I hear the Intro music and see text but no flyby and no levels its just all blacked out, it just goes deadout after the 30 seconds of the intro and keeps the music on repeat. And I tried RTNP on the online Coop mode and only 3 levels show, the Intro (That doesn't work properly), Duskfalls, and Nevec. For some strange reason Duskfalls in a hosted coop game worked. But didn't seem to alter or switch to any other levels.

Yet RTNP's pickups work but as you can see they have transparency, and they are not the only weapons, using Nali Weapons II mod I also seem to get the same problem first and thirdperson, even though I have the latest UT OpenGL, its so strange lol, when you play or host a match with RTNP online, are all the levels selectable to you?

Uh? No, 451b is not good. It's for servers only, unlike 227. Get the official patch, 436.

I use 451b cause it works better with my computer, 436 has some graphical problems for me, even with the latest OpenGL.

Obviously 451b also has graphical problems :D Anyway, try D3D8 and D3D9 drivers. If they cause problems too, update your graphics card drivers.
