It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Amazing! This one looks really clear! I have to say the texture alignment is perfect!
Yes I will move on after the Unreal Redux project. It's my last present for Unreal 1 and its community.
But this will take a long time until this will be done so Don't worry

Cheers man
Ah, I see ... :/ Even though it may take a while, I do hope you reconsider; Unreal needs talented people to sustain renewed interest in it D:
The only problem is that the audio for the upgrade animations aren't in sync anymore. I will have to edit those or fix the animations. will probably do the first.
I hate it when people ask me what my favorite game is. Just try to explain you're not talking about Unreal Tournament .
Looks really good despite the simple geometry in the scene! The bright lighting from the ceiling lights gives a more realistic tone. Is there any story as to why those Nali are working at a stationery company?
By the way, I can't stop staring at the sign once I saw "sharpener" misspelt - is this deliberate?

I've been experimenting with the editor lately, and decided to make a map featuring an abbey. Unfortunately, said abbey turned out about twice the size I originally wanted, and in the wrong proportions. I decided to stick with it, and add terrain and other elements. It is a work-in-progress, but I feel that some areas are looking really good already:
I'm now mostly using the map to learn about how I can use static meshes in a map to add detail or reduce BSP issues. The slowest part is the fountain just outside the abbey - the smoke emitters slow down the game a lot when enabled.
The lighting on the altar is a little strange, I guess it's a static-mesh.
I used quite a few static meshes throughout the map - lighting them is sometimes annoying, particularly as they don't react to spotlights that well. Thanks for the appreciation - I just need to think of ideas to fill the rest of the map!
Here's some recent stuff that I've been creating for a friends server:
The normalmapping feature implemented in the more recent 227J builds here, is still experimental (though that is not what I am showcasing, but realized it was in the screenshots as I was making this post D: )
