It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Hello all Na Palians.

I have a Radeon 9100 card (which is literally the same things as an 8500) I got the Latest openGl patch from this site working, its looks awesome but I just copied and poasted stuff from the readme (settings fora geforce 3 setup) it still looks great but theres a couple visual anaomlies.

1. The 'black tree' masking problem. I used the EXEC solutotion from Hellscrag. It works but is there a way I can setup Unreal to initilize the exe at startup?

2. theres a one or two things but if somebody else uses a radeon card and knows what options to confiqure in unreal.ini they'll most likey go away.

Also id bet my balls the radeon card supports s3tc, So I tried it out.I used the progam to convert all the textures, and then put them in the textures directory but upon startup I get all these 'mismatch' errors. I replace the texture that it says screws up but then says other texture pack is mistmatched.

Any ideas?

Also one quick thing. You know the original unreal versions? How the weapn sounds were differnt? Is there a way to make my 226 sounds for the weapons the OLD ones and STILL be able to connected to online servers?( I have a feeling If I can replace the sounds it might screw up in multiuplayer)

if it says size mismatch you probably paste the original ut files. During the process the original files are not modified, modified versions are put in a temp directory.
Don't forget to activate S3TC in the unreal.ini file

For the sounds there is a mod from sixpack~shambler try to search at beyondunreal unreal forums

set uses3tc=true :)
