I'm working on a map with my brother, and before he left, he handed the file to me in order to finish a couple things before he comes back. I want to test the map, but whenever I try to enter it, it says..
"Failed to enter autoplay.unr: can't find file for package 'advanced weapons'
What do I do?

It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

you missing some file "advanced weapons" probably "advanced weapons.u"
or
the space in that file name somehow broke file opening.
or ... autoplay.unr is related to unreal opening a map in the incorrect path ,
check the log , make sure its not tring to open map from maps fo;der that you map is not in, if that the case you need to fix registry issues with unreal install folder maybe

Well, I can't find the file anywhere, is there somehow I could delete it or bypass the problem?

if he had the file to make it , he has the file to open it....
to bypass it you will basicly have to craft a package with the same exact references in it and sustitute the file( witch is a pain)

The name does not have a space, I checked again. The log in window says it failed to load b/c it couldn't find the the file.

You can fake it.
Create a new package named AdvancedWeapons with a dummy actor named anything in it. Make sure to save it.
Load it again, it will tell you that something in AdvancedWeapons is missing. Create that class, repeat until it loads. Once it loads, export and reimport the map using a .t3d.

so nowhere to get it , i dont have it ( probably since its not available anywhere anymore.)
its also not on the skydrive "rip" of hypers files either.
