First to Casey

I am terrible sorry i havnt replied yet, but i have been nothing but ill since December 28 and i am in no condition to do anything decent. A usefull reply from me will have to wait till i get better. Just know its no disrespect in any way.......

Funny, because in the Texture Database on Unreal Texture, it is listed as type "Texture", a normal texture.  Either the database is wrong, or the type is not identified correctly in the original package.

Edit:  it appears that all of the animated textures in XbpFX are identified in the database as type "Texture" instead of the correct type.  Must be a problem with the database.

The Texture Database is entirelly made by hand, so any error in it is to blame on me. But an error in the Texture Database doesnt say anything about the actual work on the S3TC packages :)

But ill keep it in mind, and make the appropriate adjustments on the Texture Database when i am gonna add the new DecayedS files to it. All together its just a website error and nothing more.

They WILL work online, just anticheats dont recognize them as "good" packages and you'll get kicked. They'd have to update for a specific check for the new imports/exports on those packages.. a fairly simple task, but I dont think anyone would update an anticheat for 2 new high res texture files.. but who knows?

That's kinda what I meant.  But it really isn't a problem, because I rarely play online anymore.  I like to play with so many custom models, skins, and mutators that online play is kinda hard.  My favorite gametype is deatchmatch, and the bots work really well at this offline, so it all works out OK.  If I wanted to play CTF, then online (against humans) would be much better.

Anyway, I mainly wanted the improved textures for single player mods on UT using Oldskool.  So as far as I'm concerned, they could be completely broke for all online play and I wouldn't care.  In SP you actually have moments to admire the architecture, so the high res textures really make a difference.  But now I'm just rambling on, and getting off topic (sorry).

As long as the packages are good with 227, it'll be fine :)
