Unreal & UT Map Checker?
Would it be possible to make a program that can scan a folder of maps from both games and then in a second window or tab next to the scanned maps show what files that maps need for example if you selected deck it would show what files are used for it but also if you selected all the files it reads it would show which files they all need or use. Is there some kind of thing like this? and i don't mean a cache converter but an actual scanner of maps?

Or you could open the map in editor and check the log which files it opens?

Re: Unreal & UT Map Checker?
I once made a commandlet for UCC that displayed information about the map like author, gametype and such. I'm not sure if I could add more functionality to it so that it displayed required packages to load the map too (Or if that's even possible)
At the moment, my commandlet is bugged. It doesn't work properly on some UT maps, but it works under Unreal 227 fine.

Yeah i don't want to have to open hundreds of maps in the editor that could possibly be missing files, is there any way to take that code from the editor that scans the maps and putting it in a seperate program?

Works with both UT and Unreal with some configuration.
