It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

This project is old as hell. I have all the models / skins / sound files but I never cared enough to actually continue out on the project.

Should make our own levels, but bring in the models and weapons and such :P That shouldn't be copyright infringement, right?

we kinda got a solution to the texture problem...
Texturepack-Ultra-for-Quake-DarkPlaces by Rygel?
I also saw those pretty nice looking highres textures in a free shooter called "Sauerbraten"

Forget this whole project. It's never going to work, and even if it will someday, Think about all the time you have to spend on every specific detail of the entire engine.

Face it guys, we can't do this in a short time. It takes a long time to convert one game into another, and by the time we'd finish it if we started it, probably only those working on the project would remain of the community...

It would be better if someone ported Unreal to a standalone UE3 game. Dunno about the legal issues though.
