Theer is a bug that occurs with weapons switching inall the unreal games (Unreal, NaPali,UT) when using the OpenGL renderer in conjunction with the Logitech mouse WHEN the Logitech Mouseware utility is installed. Weapons don't cycle properly and one is often forced to hit the actual weapons key to get a desired weapon.
This issue is solved by uninstalling the Mouseware utility and applying the Logitech mouse drivers via 'Update driver' from the 'system devices' menu in the Control Panel.

If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Download the very latest Logitech drivers, totally uninstall the current ones, and install the newest ones.
Otherwise, just hit ctrl-alt-del, and end the EM_EXEC task before playing.

... or just set the damn wheel to "Universal Scrolling" and make it "M$ compatible"...

Re: Issues with Logitech mouse and OpenGL
I've just bought a Logitech cordless mouse, comes with mouseware 9.42, no issues so far with mouseware installed and weapon cycling under OpenGL.
I've set the Mouse Wheel to Universal Scrolling.
The only thing I did have to do was manually edit the USER.INI so PrevWeapon was assigned to MouseWheelDown as the in-game options only allowed NextWeapon to be assigned, not PrevWeapon?

For some funny reason, if you apply the ONE it will assume the other also, at least it always did for me....
