It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Welcome to the new S3TC board

Smirftsch made a new board specific to the Unreal-Retexturing-Project, for short URProject.

As it is i am working very hard on the URP website, it consumes alotta time and i still have lots of stuff that needs to be added.



But as it is, i made the single files downloadsection:

Only last week i got a hold on an UnrealGold copy, and only a few days back i noticed that UnrealGold has some extra utx files, i will add them too in the comming days.



I also made a direct link to this S3TC forum, so if you have remarks and/or questions than please post them here and not on the Celtic Warriors website.

Another important thing that has been added are the downloads for all the tools to make the textures. (except for now the utx importing tool)

I already sent a few users to the S3TC site. One of them had a problem with the downloads because the description did not fir the new downloads, but that was probalby only a temporary problem because the site is/was still under construction.

Though its under construction, the downloads should all work, maybe they just downloaded at the exact moment i was uploading or changing the website, i dunno.

But if anyone finds broken or wrong links, please report them in the form below.

There is no need to fill in everyhing, just point out where and what link is broken.


At this moment i am not working on the website, i am just working on creating textures, i still have tons of problems creating them, like shadows, pipes, decayed look, well stuff like that.


Probably the most difficult thing at the end will be to excacly match the original colors, that part is virtually imposible to achieve.


The colors you see in Photoshop do not match at all the colors you see in the game, i can only make an aproximus close color, if at all. Very, very difficult to do.........


As far as the techniques to create the textures, i am starting to get close, but i still have alot to learn there.
