It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

It's possible to run some function that spawns something in editor?
Usefull if making forest quickly.

Possible for Unreal 2 (UnrealEd3) using Button property, i really dont know about UnrealEd2\1 might need some investigating.

Depends what do you mean. If by Spawn you mean place an actor inside UED, then yes - it's possible (you have to use function ACTOR ADD CLASS=class_name in UED console). However it's impossible to spawn an actor that acts like in game. I was trying to make my Emitter spawns particles inside UED, with no luck.

There was a script/mod that randomly scattered plants etc in a map ... not the editor, but a map when played.

I think it's in the OldUnreal mods/scripts section. I have a quick look and see if I can find it for you.

Btw i think you can save map while playing unreal (^^) obj savepackage package=mapname file=..\Maps\MapName2.unr then rename mapname2.unr to mapname.unr after done (^^). not sure will it work but fun if it will anyway :D
