Considering that Linux on PS3 can't access it's GPU Unreal if you could get it to work would probably run rather slowly if not at all.

Good point, though I'm sure the PS3 has plenty of processing power to run Unreal in software rendering mode...

Can anyone gimme the hardware specs of such a thing? I'm really interested in making it work on such hardware, but I really need more informations.
If it works with linux, the engine itself hopefully runs without big trouble, but the grafix support...really don't know. But if the GPU isn't accessible, I see the biggest problem really in that.

I never owned a PS, so i have nothing with it. But it for sure would be cool if such a thing could be pulled off  8-)

In case someone will get it to run, than post info (and Screenshots/photos ? ) here, so i can write a super duper cool Installation Guide for PS3 :) I dont mind adding that to already excisting Installation Guides :)

Yea, which was unlawful since at launch they advertised its ability to run Linux...

but you can still run it using a modified update I think.

I would try this on mine but I am having trouble just getting my Ubuntu to run .bin files -.-. I have had zero success so far.... The Medium it is installed on IS Fat32 though... but file permissions my ass, I dont see why I cant just tell Ubuntu to run it and get it over with....

Also, you might be able to run Unreal on the wii too, assuming debian based linux os supports can run it.
