Re: HUD Display
Erm. Are you talking about like having the HUD drawn for 800x600 resolution, and center that along the game which is actually in 1024x768?

Re: HUD Display
um...ya...i think so...like in ut2k4 u know? that setting that lets u make the HUD display bigger or smaller no matter wat the resolution is...so i could be running in 1600x1200 and still have the HUD like really big 8-)

Re: HUD Display
Please note that changing the hud size without creating higher res icons and letters would give a very low image quality. (Stretching low-res images is a bad idea).
My favour would be to NOT develop a new HUD. (Fixing bugs is more important, U227 is already much delayed.)

Indeed. And as I posted before, if you run at 1600xsomething you're insane in my book anyway.

1920x1200 is surely one of the best things that happened to Unreal. Especially with S3TC on. Period. And with the good old HUD.

Re: HUD Display
Certainly not. Around 80%. But a TFT or high-end CRT helps a lot. These letters here are also 1 pixel wide (lines) and good visible I guess.Why... it only means his eye-sight is extremely above average, something we all dream abouthmm...thats odd :-?
But back to the HUD: For high resolutions a bigger HUD would sertainly be nice, and if there is someone willing and able to make a high quality hud class which can be added to U227 I would give it a go. My point just is to not put more work on the shoulders of Smirftsch to not delay the patch even more.

Re: HUD Display
i think a resizable hud is a great idea, i would love if the ubrowser "font size" function would also affect the hud AND translator/chat rather then only the console and menu.
problem is that whenever i hook up my pc on the tv and start playing from the couch everything is unreadable, especially chat with other players and the translator.
