It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Hi,

I've just installed the latest Catalyst for my videocard (Radeon X1800), to try and solve a problem with UT3 (which it hasn't
but that's another story :) ).

Anyway, now I find that in original UT99, I can't change the brightness, which I could do in the previous, Catalyst 6.x,
infact every time I started UT I found I had to move the brightness slider to get it to reset to the needed level.

I have tried installing the oldunreal multimedia upgrade for UT, which has not fixed the problem.

Anyone have any clue as to what I can do to resolve this ?

I have same a problem. Brightness is regulated only in DIRECT3D driver. As they realised support Only for DIRECT3D.
