32-bit Z-buffer

Post by Hyper »

How can I set my GeForce 7800 GT to allow Unreal to use a 32-bit Z-buffer? I've searched through the settings in the nVidia display control panel, used NVHardPage to show hidden nVidia panels and searched through the RivaTuner tweaks, but still I can't get more than 24 bits Z-buffer.

I need 32-bit because far-away objects get cut off in Unreal, this is visible in large maps like the sunspire, where you can not see the most far away objects. I use OpenGL with OldUnreal's OMP.

I'm not sure about this but I scanned my opengl settings and noticed an option for zrangehack and another for zbuffer. I originally thought there was an option for 32 bit zbuffer in opengl settings but I couldn't find it.

Those do not really fix the problem. Tried them already.
