wassup, im running a geforce 5200 pci from nvidia, and it seems like 225f doesnt even recognize it. i just came back from a year long break of being away so im fairly rusty about what to do.
i've installed the 224, then 225f patches to see if they make a difference, and what would you kno 224, runs and looks alot better, but i like 225f more.
besides 224 spectator mode doesnt let me float around, or even move my camera. nor does it allow me to focus on a player. so it basically sucks.
anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. i seen in some other post people recommending changing the ini settings, to the ones in the readme.
first off, i dont kno what ini they are talking about, second, i didnt any readme with video settings in it.
thanks.

for 225 there is no real solution, and its not possible to create any patches for it since there is no code availible for it. I suggest to move on to 226 or go back to 224 and use the OMP.

.... which is exactly the conclusion the first document should have led to, although I know it requires a tiny update (regarding the special patches).

try using the Glide Wrapper. I have had good success with it as have a few of my clan members.
http://www.hlkclan.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=40&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
there are newer versions of it (mentioned at the bottom of that thread), though I continue to use .76 and the initial screenshots in the thread reference .76 specifically.
The reason I use it is that I also prefer 225f for playing, as I have found it to run the best for me, whereas the other drivers (opengl, d3d, etc..) seem to have issues with some specific maps I liked. And while I have found the wrapper gives slightly less fps then say d3d, it has proven to be the most stable for gameplay (no jitters, odd lag, etc..).
