It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

GeForce3 card nto workin with Unreal

I have a problem with unreal. i cant Figure out how to get the Geforce card workin with Unreal. i dont have Unreal gold, I used to but deleted it and got the older unreal cuz I hated gold. It barely worked with the internet. I need to know how to set the advanced options to fit with my Geforce card. I had the card installed before i installed unreal. Plus when i start and Unreal game it always says it created an error. so i cant play unless i play it on safe mode, which really sux. So i need help on how to get the card working with Unreal.

first check ur drivers, get the latest for ur grafix card (best choice for me was always the reference drivers of nvidia - www.nvidia.com), latest directx (www.microsoft.com/directx) and for your mainboard -
ali based boards : www.aliusa.com
via based boards : www.via.com.tw or www.viahardware.com
amd based boards: www.amd.com

then get unreal 224 (a very few features are missing, but bug free) and my opengl patch 2.1.0.4 OR unreal226f and the opengl patch 2.1.0.5 and follow the install instructions inside.

All patches are availible in my download section.

I DL the 226F Patch but have no idea how to unzip it and install it on Unreal. And i'm not exactly a cpu wiz so I ahve no idea what you're talkin about. Going to different web sites and checkin the latest? I'm sorry if I'm dumb, but i had unreal gold and was used to that. If you can walk me thru the steps i will very well appreciate it.
Think Saturn....(as in the car)...That goes over 150 mph...(SL2..not the sports coupe)...year 1992...picture it teal... 6 spd...0-60 in 4.8 sec.......MY BABY. 348 hp @6000 RPM (don't know the torq yet

I have the 226f patch installed and everything. It still gives me the message that Unreal generated an error. I cant unzip the patch 2.1.0.5. I have Win 2000 if that may be the problem cuz the back of the case says Windows 95, NT, 98. shouldnt Unreal detect the Geforce3. Unreal Gold did! Please help!

Everything is alright now. I got it workin. I just needed the patch. It runs fine for one exception. I can't connect to a DM game. is it the patch? The 226f patch.
