I met my first girlfriend in Unreal Gold

This is a funny story.

I met my first girlfriend in Unreal Gold, her name was Amy or Amelia. We would chat on MSN instant messenger. I forget her username/handle sadly but if I am not mistaken she used to hang out with Old Farts clan folks. So I can only assume (perhaps) her father was in that. Anyways, this is where it gets funny. I was 10 or 11, and she was either 9, or 10. I just remember being older by a single year.

We played Unreal Gold pretty much everyday together. And our relationship consisted of "wow you are good at this game," and "you are fun," lol. Pure innocence haha!!

Ffwd a few months on, my friend hijacks my MSN instant messenger account and inappropriately begins chatting her, and supposedly sent inappaopriate imagery from Yahoo images or somewhere. Well, she blocked me by the time I got my account back. That was traumatizing. Because like, that was my first-ever 'girlfriend' even though it was super long-distance. She was from Australia and I remember she bragged to me about the in-ground pool her father or some1 put in their backyard. They had a family photos website even their family ran, and she gave me special access to see family portraits.

Was kinda cool, and anyways - yep. The end, my first and way short-lived 'e-girlfriend' from Unreal Gold/UT99 or such.
