I just received a gift. Unreal Tournament - Game Of The Year edition !! Is this version of UT ok for the "disk 2" you seem to need to setup the fancy new textures?
I also use UnrealGold 226b !! Plus, what do I need to do to use these new textures in the maps I've made?

I'd like to use the new 32 bit textures and new AL sounds ... I use an Asus ATI Radeon 9600XT card too, set to D3D rendering - please "baby step" me through this stuff.

It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

I still am working on the how-to's, but seeing all my work it progresses slow :-/
Though i am not really sure what you mean, is your question only for how to install the S3TC textures in your games?
Except the link Hyper gave, i still have some crappy outdated tutorials online :-/ But only the one for Unreal is valid, Gold and UT could be incorrect.
