It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Some funny conversation regarding Impaler I just had:
yea but the original one was supposed to generate a continuous arcing beam of energy (this was re-made in the doomreal version by Marisa). the "reboot" version was a more straightforward weapon and lost the slicing functionality and anim too. Then this was reintroduced in Unreal II but before release they dubbed it "Shock Lance" to somehow tie it up to "ASMD" and shock rifle

https://unreal.fandom.com/wiki/Shock_Lance

even though that explanation about "ASMD technology" makes no sense...

so its a AND SUCK MY DICK technology somehow in crystals?

Why couldn't they tie it into the tarydium crystals technology it was originally using anyways when they had to make such references? But no they had to pander to SHOCK RIFLE fans in such a stupid ass way.

Again, this was because of JOSS WHEDON fucking it up (well, his equivalent) lol....

So, we have:
https://wiki.beyondunreal.com
https://liandri.beyondunreal.com
https://unreal.fandom.com
https://wiki.unrealadmin.org
https://www.oldunreal.com/wiki

And I probably missed some. Why is this so fragmented? And what is the main active Wiki for the various content types?

Well the answer is easy. BeyondUnreal is mostly code and died at least twice, is barely working nowadays and pages are split between legacy (the actual wiki) and new ones (like 5% of the site), so it's become hard to use and is largely abandoned. When I do need to read something from it, I actually find it easier to use old mirrors hosted by people who downloaded their own copy of the old wiki. This is completely different from BeyondUnreal's Liandri wiki which is entirely about the lore and probably predates while being less active than the fandom one. Having both might be redundant, unlike Unrealadmin which mostly deals with with hosting a dedicated server. As for OldUnreal, it was supposed to centralize U227's specific content but we got tired of working on it for nothing because it wasn't being read, so it petered out and now development has moved away from the wiki, from this forum and from OldUnreal at large to GitHub.

So the most active one is probably the fandom one but that doesn't tell the whole story since they don't deal with the same thing.
You must construct additional pylons.
