Tim Sweeney Interview

Post by Robaxlin »

Hi all,

I am just posting an extended interview that Tim Sweeney has done with Lex Fridman

He goes into the history of epic games and the unreal engine and I thought it would be interesting to post for historical and educational purposes.

Just watched it all myself. Tim seems like a great guy; generous with praise, acknowledgment for the many talented people he has always had around him and seems open to pretty much any questions. Passionate guy, for sure and its great that Lex got him on for 4.5 hours!

Not going to watch 4+ hours video like this. Are there segments just about Unreal that someone can cut out and post?

He talks about Unreal and Unreal Engine 1 here in this clip that's shorter to watch.

Thanks for reminding me why me prefers to spend me evenings eating
crushed glass.

EDIT: might as well respond to this one, too--

Thanks. The face of Lex to the left is priceless though lol, on the preview picture.

Btw recently I spoke to somebody who called Tim a "Twitter Troll".
