Well, I can't tell you why the conversion you did is mute. I read over the tutorial you linked. It looked okay, but I have no familiarity with the tools it uses. When I converted the music "Midgard" for my map DmDarkScape I used different tools, but did the same things to convert the mp3 to a umx.

There's a tutorial at the Unreal Wiki site: https://www.oldunreal.com/wiki/index.ph ... or_example.

I've also bundled ModPlugTracker with a pretty good tutorial years ago, which is available for DL here at Oldunreal.

https://www.oldunreal.com/tools/MPTracker.zip

I know this latter one works. It's the tool and tutorial I used to learn how to convert the "Midgard" track to a umx for the map I was working on at the time. That was something like 17 years ago, so I don't really remember much. I've also had a stroke since then.

I wish I could help you out more.

You haven't needed to convert to WAV since patch 227.
Just import the MP3 into UEd and save as a UMX.

Even UT99 has the ability if using the updated audio renderers.
Here is how easy it is to have full quality stereo music in your maps.

If you really must use reduced quality mono WAVs then I recommend my own tutorial, which teaches you what you are actually doing so you can achieve it with your preferred software, and achieve better quality results.

Thanks Doc. I figured there was a reason the use of trackers to convert music is over a decade old. Gotta love 227.

Will this new method be working with Jazz Jackrabbit 3 level editor because it's very old and outdated unfinished, unreleased, cancelled sequel of Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

As long as there is an updated audio renderer for JJ3 that can handle it.
If not you are stuck with converting to WAV or finding a suitable tracker mod.

Tracker music is still a thing and new music is available all the time.

Because I wanted to import Ocarina of Time map, but it seems map is not functioning properly. Even music seems to be not working properly too.
