DirectX9 render error. Random Crash of the game

Post by Sergey »

Dear developers. Your 227i patch is excellent, but not universal, and I would like to permanently get rid of the bugs with my favorite DirectX9 renderer from your patch.
in the middle of the game, a crash occurs and I am thrown out of the game on the desktop. It was unpleasant. I am afraid that this situation will happen again. help me solve this problem

I can already see the discrepancy between the Unreal.ini settings and settings is in my log file. So, for example, in Unreal ini:
MaxAnisotropy=4

in log:
Log: MaxAnisotropy: 16

It is likely that the render works in full force, regardless of any settings in unreal. ini
Please check and if there are errors, then create a new DirectX9 render for this patch

actually doesn't look like a render error. Is this reproducible?

I tried exactly where this bug was, but I couldn't reproduce it

But I can give you an approximate location... The bug occurred after killing the monster and entering the area where he died

all versions of unreal are not crashproof, but this particular one seems to be the texture trace crash which will be fixed in 227j release
