I'd like to know if there's a chance of getting this somehow
https://ia800703.us.archive.org/BookRea ... 4&rotate=0
It mentions it was going to come with a demo, is it just Unreal Special or something else? We can't know for sure until it surfaces...
it says it is with exclusive levels..
it needs to be the one with the tank image...like this
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174773859276
but this is just a promo poster

Re: Diamond Monster Fusion Unreal demo?
as gamesharder pointed out, there was a thread where this was mentioned
viewtopic.php?p=50578#p50578
but it seems it might be just unreal special...the guy seemed to have sent it off to someone who bought it though so we couldn't get it from him anymore.
I also think it didn't have the fusion mappack and fusion had nothing to do with those cards. The fusion maps were released at first separately, then included in the OEM (except twilight as that was botpack map) and then they were fused together into the fusion map pack but also with twilight that was altered, the warheadlauncher removed etc that was seen in previews.

Is the is the same as the Unreal Shareware / Special Edition Demo that came with some early Sound Blaster Live! cards?
If yes, you can download it from my website.

Re: Diamond Monster Fusion Unreal demo?
Didn't you forget who originally uploaded that back in early 2005? Hint: It was me.
Look to the archived news of your site and search for "leo" you will see it at may 2005 it happened apparently.
From the looks of it it might be the same version but we can't know for 100 percent if there isn't something different. There was a version that had both unreal special and the unrealao.exe scenarios etc.
What I would also like to get is the full s3tc oem version as it had a working newed with an early Unreal version. This was the version of the editor that was ready to be shipped as the standalone product. Early Unreal 2 also used this editor and modified it further. That was a precursor to the UnrealED 2.0 and derivatives but different. the only pure newed we now have is the one from xcom alliance but that's a broken version of it.
Since the standalone UNREALED didn't ship (and maybe only limitedly then got pulled back from stores) this is as close as we get but of course only the maps were preserved now the exclusives from the s3tc demo that you also host and rest was thrown out (without regard for the newed.exe thing)...
btw as for the old page, here are snapshots
https://web.archive.org/web/20000510131 ... works.html
https://web.archive.org/web/20010713232 ... works.html
https://web.archive.org/web/20020804022 ... works.html
this is the one that has their "fix"
https://web.archive.org/web/20030817091 ... works.html
But it doesn't seem to be anywhere unless someone can find it elsewhere or on fileplanet archives. Of course I also made my own fix that altered unreali instead...
it used to be here so i'd like to check their version one day still

No, I don't remember the origin of most of my hosted files from years ago. That's not how my memory works.
