Awesome! I honestly didn't know there was a competition out there, but assuming the limited timespan required for creating these things I have to say all the mappers did an excellent job. There is some very good and consistent build quality over there despite the fact that these were all submitted by different authors. Good job guys! :D

My personal favorite was DM-CMC-ChaosKeep, it just has that good old unreal dungeon vibe that reminds me of Curse/Elsinore, i'm a total sucker for that 8-)

(sorry for only replying now, I kinda forgot to reply back then and only now I remembered about this while browsing...)

Yeah, this was a competition that was started to be organized as far back as August 2017 if I recall, then it was started in September and ended in mid-October, but then people kept working in their maps a little further to improve them, fix bugs, or even finish it properly, and then it was only really released in December.  :)

But it wasn't very well spread, so most weren't aware of the competition, and then during it there were several problems, poorly defined requirements and some bit of drama around it, which might have put off a few others, but still it was very fun to participate in and the end result ended up in what you see, with interesting maps overall, and at least for me it was a good way to clean out some of the accumulated rust, since it's been years since I had done any map at all, and this was a good reason to do one.  ;D

ut99.org runs at least 1 mapping contest a year.
