It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

RTNP Ultimate Edition Crash

UT now belongs to the "old" Unreal as well. Supporting it for OpenGL and Sound its time to put up a board now.

RTNP Ultimate Edition Crash

Hello,

My Return to NaPali Ultimate Edition worked properly before upgrading UT to 469b and to D3D11. For those not familiar with RTNP Ultimate Edition, it runs in UT, similar to custom games.

Anyway, I changed RTNP Ultimate's graphics to D3D11, and also I changed its audio to Cluster, to match that in UT. the game launches with those settings, but when I select a prior save it crashes with the following error.:

Anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this?

v469b still has some serious issues... Some of them existed in original UT code and were not yet discovered to the moment of v469b latest release, some were 'automatically' introduced because of common/general changes in the modern software development environments and discovered just recently...

These and most of other known issues are already fixed in the next v469c. It is possible this crash also has already been fixed in v469c, but to be sure it is necessary to test it with the recent v469c test release (though it is only available for beta-testers yet).

Thank you, Eternity, for the information. Looks like I'll have to wait for Patch 469c, then. I hope someone tests using RTNP Ultimate Edition to make sure.
