It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Yeah, I meant more detailed decoration-wise. I guess I wasn't too clear on that :/In general I would say the BSP is in fact not that much more detailed compared to original game, what you see as detail is mainly the use of decorations, textures and all of that which give this feel.I'm awaiting this mod with EXTREME excitement! I just can't wait anymore D:
The levels just look amazing! MUCH more detailed than the original Unreal maps!
Anyway, there's only less than two months left of 2009, so I'm hoping we can expect a release sometime either the middle of this month or somewhere near the start of December.

I've been playing through the latest dev build and this shit is solid. A few bsp/texture errors here and there, but with areas so damned detailed I can't blame him. Bigger things have been overlooked in many other map packs, these are far from game breaking. I would say trench alone is more trouble :p
The maps are absolutely huge and gorgeous. Weapons and new monsters are suprises. This really is worth the hype.
And yes turboman, i've been taking screenshots of what I've been finding in the maps..
Should email me so I can start sending you the screenshots, and I have a super-tiny script fix that will take all of 2 seconds to insert
btw.. this plays much better in the latest 227g, a lot of the mesh based decorations display better, as we recently changed a check on when to display meshes, so it will always display if it's supposed to, as opposed to things randomly disappearing at weird angles.

It is good to see that people are play testing this... that means it really is close to release time!!!!!
Personally, I wouldn't want to playtest any betas of Firestorm because I want to play it at its fullest for the first time. I'm hoping to get that feeling of nirvana (much like playing Unreal for the first time) with firestorm. No pressure Turboman

And your real name which you used in your nick long ago was kinda weird for a male, but I am not expert in these names.
