It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Or keep it as ogg. Irrc Galaxy has ogg support in next official 227 release.

If you have OldUnreal's 227 patch installed, you can just import the .ogg music in Unrealed and save it as a .umx package. No conversion needed.
It will only be playable on Unreal 227 though, not 226 or UT.
You must construct additional pylons.

You can use the editor to convert it to umx, just import the file in the music menu section of UnrealEd and save it :)

If want me to explain it using images, you'll have to wait until tomorrow though :c

You're not helping us helping you much... What exactly is the problem? We have given you two ways of doing what you want.

Open UnrealEd, open the music browser, hit File => Import. Navigate to the location of your .ogg file. Above the "Open" and "Cancel" buttons, clic the "Music files" drop-down menu and select "OGG .ogg". Your .ogg file should now be visible. Select it and hit "Open". Choose a package, group and song name and hit "OK". Unless you have set the package to "MyLevel", you have now created a .umx package containing your .ogg song.

If you want the song to be playable in Unreal pre-227 and UT, convert the song to .wav, and then import it into a tracker software (such as ModPlug Tracker) as an instrument. Then play a single C4 note of that instrument. This will however create a huge and low-quality file.
You must construct additional pylons.

I will normalize then first if you like, as the recordings need a serious decibel boost :)

PPS. No idea why this is posted here, since OGG support only began with 227 (best thing that ever happened by the way) and this section is for UnrealEd up to 226, but que sera sera..........

If you can play them, then your UEd can do the job.
UEd is not converting the OGG, it is just putting it inside a UMX wrapper.
You can use the Unreal patch again to fix UEd if it is broken.

If you cannot see OGG files when you "import", then change the filetype to show "All files".
Import, set a name with no spaces, and then "Save as" UMX

Is the Unreal editor in our Unreal system folder? I need more clarification....

Think I am done with Unreal and its very small crowd that somehow manages to patronise people who they never met, will never know and make huge assumptions about. Time to move on.

What's got into you? I believe Dr.Flay™ was actually trying to explain and be helpful. There might be some disagreeable people here and there (there's are least one in every crowd), but I don't see why you react so violently right now.
I hope your decision isn't final. If it is, good luck with whatever you decide to do. It's sad to lose a member of such a small community.

He could even be simply stating if unrealed can play the ogg/wav upon import it can be saved as umx

The problem of converting music was decided by itself when I found out what the problem was. It turned out that before the patch, I had one of the custom Unreal, which had HiRes textures, it had support for two languages - Russian and English (I need Russian as I live in Russia), it was set up for the game, but This damaged the UnrealEd editor, because of which I could not save the map, import textures and music, and not export it. And these problems haunted me as on 226, and on 227i. When I downloaded the purely English version and patched it up to 227i, these problems did not appear. It turned out that I just used the wrong assembly, that it is necessary... Sorry for the inconvenience.  :-/
