Which version of Unreal do you have now?

When you have the first original Unreal CD release you probably have version 200. You can patch it with Patch 226F and then to 227i.

Some hardware vendors bundled newer, now obscure versions of Unreal like 220. They also can be patched to 226f and then to 227i.

Unreal Gold is already version 226 and can be patched to 227i directly.

When you have Unreal Tournament consider getting UT patch 436

In case your Unreal installation is not recognised, for example because the registry entries are missing, consider re-installing it from CD and then apply the appropriate patches.

The only actual program I could find is the newest one (downloaded from https://www.unrealengine.com/ ), so I have 4.14.1. Where can I find this "cd release"?

For UT99 NOT patch with 451b ... it's only for server and Brock unrealed.

The last is 436.

The UnrealEngine.com download (Unreal Engine 4) has little to do with Unreal 1. It is a completely new engine which is not compatible with the old Unreal 1 game. You cannot use the Unreal nor OldUnreal patches on it. When you have Unreal 1 / Unreal Gold installed come back to this topic.

Thanks for the correction. I changed my post. (See how often I play UT :-))
