It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Can anyone tell me some great websites to learn the basics and what not to modding? I some what have some knowledge on reading script and properties, but want to learn more of the basics.

Starting at Level Design. Original Epic UE1 documentation. Best way to start.

There are also plenty of tutorials and guides on the Old Unreal wiki:

I hate it when people ask me what my favorite game is. Just try to explain you're not talking about Unreal Tournament .

I'm not a mod programmer nor level designer myself, but I have quite a collection of information and tutorials in the InfoBase section of my site. Most of the information is quite old but still relevant if you want to learn the basics of the old game. You'll mostly want to look at the Library and Archive sections.

I'm really glad you mirror the original Epic documentation mentioned above.I'm not a mod programmer nor level designer myself, but I have quite a collection of information and tutorials in the InfoBase section of my site.
