Sorry, here is the update.

Deathrite isn't working right and the Klingon HUD isn't showing fonts for some reason.

Bots can now use Klingon weapons properly, at least sorta, they are kinda stupid with the Particle Dispersal Cannon though.

Point blank aiming is still weird. Will adjust some things when I figure them out.

Various visual fixes, including weird mesh glitches thanks to Turboman and missing mesh flags using the invaluable UnrealFX.

Cool, thanks for the status update. Sadly, I am still not going to be able to test this without KHG sounds and textures though :(

I am looking everywhere, but am having no luck so far. I don't want to just ask for the KHG assets though, since that would be both impolite and would probably get me banned from here.

if you need the assets. you can join the server ah monsters since it has the mod installed. you can get the files from your cache after. dowloads are compressed and redirected so no worries. you wont get the khg maps tho. ::)

Well, maybe we should ask Smirftsch to make a KHG subforum? We already have Rune, Deus Ex, and a few others.

Also, @Musically, you should check out my thread where I have been trying to remaster old UMXs. Sadly, I am getting no feedback aside from my one post about my first (and quite feeble) attempt several months ago.

Hi to everyone and KHG fans(as well as all Unreal engine game fan), i installed the game and the patch v1.1 and it worked fine with the 3dfx renderer(using nGlide).
But now after installing the driver pack the game goes automatically on Opengl rendering and also the went on windowed mode.
When i go to advanced options and try to change back to 3dfx i get

"The procedure entry point
?ImportText@UFloatProperty@@UBEPBGPBGPAEH@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library Core.dll."

So now everytime i launch the game it gives the same message and the screen goes blank(all white) and nothing happens so i need to ctrl+alt+delete, all i need to do to "fix" it is to go to Khg.cfg and change the line GameRenderDevice=GlideDrv.GliveRenderDevice to(example):GameRenderDevice=OGlDrv.OpenGlRenderDevice

Also when a movie(cutscene) start it begins slowly so i want to desactivate cutscene is it possible?

Hi

At the risk of possibly derailing the thread (although, as part of the discussion is predicated on having an install, maybe it isn't...), can anybody advise on how to install KHG on Windows 10? Last time I think I did an install would have been windows 7 maybe, and I don't remember it going well then. Now, SETUP.EXE just silently fails.

If it's like any other ancient unreal engine, just copy the whole CD into some directory and run the main executable in the system folder

That doesn't help with the 1.1 patch. I had to use a CAB extractor to rip the files out and patch manually (after guessing which folders they go into).

-Sound issue still exists from earlier. Inexplicably mute enemies do not yell their lines even though they should be. Logs show it is being called. I REALLY wish somebody knew what was going on because I do not.
Have you tried messing around with the EffectsChannels/Channels setting in Unreal.ini?!?!? :D

As for the Installation on Windows 10 (CleverCaviar). The Setup.exe worked fine for me.

Although i use an english Image for it (Deamon Tools) so maybe that explains why.

Use Linux (WINE) to run the installer then copy the files to Windows.
