Re: Deep Space Nine:The Fallen
The links appear to be broken, also does there happen to be any changelog for the patches out there? I found some for the first, but I haven't been able to find anything about the second patch.
And there happens to be a third patch of some kind, labelled the "Mini Code Patch", according to this page
http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Star_Trek:_Deep_Space_Nine_-_The_Fallen
Personally I did not even know this game had patches, it ran quite stable out of the box (although it probably wouldn't on modern systems considering it's use of the old d3d)
Also for those who finished the game, there is an unofficial addon called "convergence". It attempts to tie some loose ends here and there and apparently even the original devs worked on it.

Re: Deep Space Nine:The Fallen
thanks, fixed the links and downloaded the rest of the content mentioned at this page.
No, I don't know anything about changelogs either, I assume its within the patch installer. Just that I didn't make it yet to get a copy of this game for myself
- so kinda hard to install. Could be that I can extract it nevertheless, will check when I've got some time.

Re: Deep Space Nine:The Fallen
Does DS9: The Fallen use the stencil shadows thing that was in that experimental TNT beta patch for Unreal?

From what I heard it uses the same technique but if its development is related in any way, guess no one can tell. Need a copy of this game yet anyway.Does DS9: The Fallen use the stencil shadows thing that was in that experimental TNT beta patch for Unreal?

Re: Deep Space Nine:The Fallen
Why do The Fallen and Klingon Honor Guard share the same forum? They're nothing alike, use vastly different releases of the Unreal engine, and are not even made by the same people. Just because they're both Star Trek?

Re: Deep Space Nine:The Fallen
The main concern was before to not add countless new boards on the main level. and they did at least were both Star-Trek based. However as this is now a subforum one could reconsider splitting it up.Why do The Fallen and Klingon Honor Guard share the same forum? @Pitbull
I'd love to see your work on that game but the link from above is unfortunately offline (http://quickdog.net/downloads/maps/Promenade.zip).
Is there any other link ?

I still got a question tough. I came across a few screenshots which were apparently taken from an earlier version of the game (maybe beta or so). You can see them below. I never saw this locations in the game and trust me I opened every single map in the editor but couldn't find them. I already had contacted a person who was involved in the development of the game (a level designer) and he told me, that he isn't familiar with these screenshots, since they must be from an early beta demo or something like that.
The reason why I'm so curious about these maps is that I'm a huge DS9 Fan and that it's really a pity that they left these maps out in the final build since in the final game you were only able to visit the ops, the promenade and that refinery sections of Ds9.
Has anyone of you ever heard of any beta versions of this game ? Or does anyone know which might have been in charge for that project (ds9 the fallen) on thecollective. I'd love to get in touch with someone and find out if these scrapped maps are somewhere out there =)

Re: Deep Space Nine:The Fallen
Hello there, playing on Windows 10 installed patch v112100+ NCD and the mentioned Mini-Code-patch.
Game is running but everything is speed up.
Any help?
EDIT: Nevermind. Limiting the game to 60 FPS was the solution
