Description:
Dr. Brain: Action Reaction is a first person puzzle game. If you are into games like Quantum Conundrum and Portal, this game will be worth your while. One of the most noticable features are attractors. These are the source of some attracting force and will influence the curve of certain balls or can pull you when you toggle your attractor vest on.

Developer:
Knowledge Adventure

Engine Version:
224 (Unicode)

Wikipedia:

Notes:
Game includes the Editor package, but no Editor executable. However copying over the Unreal 224 UnrealEd.exe does work. A diff between Unreal 224 and DRAR script source yielded only minor differences. UCC.exe out of Unreal 224 works too. An OpenGLDrv I compiled with 224pubsrc also seem to work with this game.

Multiplayer Notes
Inside the game menu you can just join an internet server, probably ini needs to be adjusted for another masterserver, however i had no luck on a quick try, but I might have missed sth. as they use some custom classes for masterserver uplink. However, joining using the console screen does work. For starting a server, either copy over the UCC.exe out of Unreal 224 or start game with -server option.

Can anyone look into the game files? I don't have the game, but I saw some youtube videos and the stuff seen in the intro is particulary interesting. The jellyfish look a lot like the ones from emissary and I see a stingray mesh appearing that looks a lot like the original Unreal stingray. Can someone get those meshes out so I can take a look at them?

I saw the intro and was interested too, but the stingray is definitely not the same. The skin, model, and animation are all different (and not nearly as good as Epic's). I don't know about the jellyfish, though.

They could have been at the very least inspired tho.

The animations and skin were different but I can't see enough of the model to say that, but probably not as they(developers) always feared using epic's resources when developing projects.

And that's not something I made up if you accuse me of that, that's something I was told by at least one of them.

Random musing: I used to play The Time Warp of Dr. Brain in high school which was fun as hell, despite never getting passed the first slew of puzzles. It's all about Gridlock!
