It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Well, that was quite unexpected. After more than a month of downtime, the old forum is back online. :o
I never received a reply from BrakeDanceJ (The hoster) so I really do not know if it will hold. Therefore I will continue here with a small corner at OldUnreal. The old forum was mostly inactive anyways.

But the current uptime gave me the opportunity to make a mirror available of all contents (1069 threads) of the old forum. The mirror will remain online at my site. I also, painstakingly, manually archived the entire forum at the Internet Archive by manually(!) adding every page of 1000+ threads. (Some may think I don't care, but look at me caring ;))

Even though I'm not a member there, that is great news. Hyper, I love your site....it is one of the few that still gives me that 'early days' feel, when Epic Games was Mega and things were....cooler. Great vibe, especially the precaching.

Anyhow, good that things came back and I hope you never update the look or feel of the site. Thanks for keeping it alive mate.
