Deco Shadows.
Pawn Shadows have some performance degration over time issue for now (D3D9) so maybe it's a good thing to disable them anyway.

So what setting do I use? I set Pawn shadows to none and enable Deco shadows, but none of the shadows show up anymore.

Last time I dealt with 227 (shadows) they had a very unfortunate Palette layout, so that one always had to depalettize them (which was a significant performance hit), compared to just beeing able to directly unpack them on the rendev side. Idk if that has been addressed since.

I can't remember the exact details, maybe it was the inverse order in the palette, or even sth. with a hump.

But why RGBA8, it should be just one channel data, so just like R8 + swizzle.

Sorry there is no setting for that at the moment. In solo play you can delete pawn shadows with console command: killall PawnShadow or killall PawnShadowX

I had to get creative, I set this in the User.ini to get what I wanted.

"W=MoveForward | killall PawnShadowX"
